First Truck Centre started in 1978 in Lloydminster, Alberta and in 1992 joined forces with Edmonton Freightliner to become one of the first multi-branch dealerships. In 1996, to keep up with the demand, First Truck Centre Edmonton South was built and our newest addition, First Truck Centre Vancouver joined the team in 2009. In 2015, First Truck Centre Abbotsford was built. And in 2019 First Truck Centre acquired James Western Star Truck & Trailer in Williams Lake, Prince George and Fort Saint John.
First Truck Centre is more than just a family of heavy duty truck dealerships. We value and support the communities in which we live. To date First Truck has donated over two million dollars to great causes like Cancer Research, MS Society, Stars Air Ambulance, and organizations that assist with the homeless. First Truck Centre supports the Alberta Enterprise Group, AMTA, BCTA, CMTA and other transportation organizations across Western Canada and the US. We donate to organizations like NAIT to keep the industry we work in rich with new ideas and enthusiastic professional trades people.
