Grande Prairie Truckers Stage 600 Strong Protest

This past weekend truckers in Grande Prairie, Alberta showed the country that truckers can agree on the hard issues.

The carbon tax and the lack of pipeline capacity have crippled the economy of Alberta.  More than 600 truckers showed their anger towards the Trudeau handling of the oil and gas engine for the Canadian economy.

It’s a rarity for two truckers to agree on anything let alone get 600 to put their money where their mouths are and take a stand.   Clearly, the message they were and are sending, although it remains to be seen, was telling the Trudeau government they are disgusted with carbon tax. They are horrified the government has stopped any hope of adding capacity to an existing pipeline.
