What a show!!! After almost three years of Covid-19 restrictions, the APNA Truck Show returned to Tradex in Abbotsford, BC in June of 2022.
There was some doubt and anxiety in early 2022, with the unknown factors surrounding the pandemic. But with restrictions lifted and large public events back on, there was optimism for the APNA Truck Show.
This yearโs show had all parts that one has come to expect from APNA: the Trade Show, Job Fair, Show & Shine, Seminars, Entertainment, and of course, a grand prize that everyone is always excited for. This yearโs grand prize was a brand new 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle, valued at close to $30K and donated by the Big Rig Group. This yearโs lucky winner was Gurminder Bains, an owner operator.
The 2022 APNA Truck Show had, according to management, over 125 exhibitors and over 15,000 visitors! Thatโs an impressive number considering many people were, and are, still a little nervous attending large scale events.
Almost every exhibitor said the show surpassed their expectations and that they are looking forward to the next one. Such words show the confidence exhibitors have in the APNA Show.
โWe wanted to ensure the public that the APNA Truck Show would follow all safety and guidelines set out by the government,โ said Bobby Saini, APNA Truck Show Manager. โAnd for this reason, we were very public that safety of visitors would be our primary concern.โ
โWe are very happy with the turnout at this yearโs APNA Truck Show, as were the exhibitors at the show,โ said Tony Arora, APNA Truck Show Manager. โIf this yearโs numbers are any indication of peopleโs confidence in the APNA Truck Show, then we look forward to an even bigger show next time.โ
Show management would like to send their heart-felt appreciation to all exhibitors and visitors who attended the show because as the name suggests, APNA (meaning our) is our communityโs own show.
