US Diesel Fuel Price Drops — Again

The countryโ€™s average diesel price dropped another 4.1 cents nationwide this week, according to the Department of Energyโ€™s weekly report.

The average price of a gallon of on-highway diesel is now $2.071. The most significant decrease came in the Rocky Mountain region, where prices dropped 6.3 cents, followed by the Gulf Coast region, where prices dropped 5.7 cents.

The nationโ€™s most expensive diesel can be found in California at $2.459 per gallon, followed by the Central Atlantic region at $2.264 per gallon.

The cheapest fuel can be found in the Gulf Coast region at $1.957 per gallon, followed by the Midwest at $1.987 per gallon.

Prices in other regions, according to the DOEโ€™s weekly report, are:
