The simple act of dropping your dolly legs can result in some serious delays. Frankly, even empty trailers can break through asphalt if the conditions are right.
Remember, only drop your trailer on a cement pad. If that cement pad isn’t available make sure you use dolly pads to spread the weight. Even if it’s only a few minutes, with the weight on your dolly legs on asphalt there could be a breakdown in the pavement surface that would require a tow truck lift to be able to rehook.
