Peterbilt Motors Company received three prestigious Manufacturing Leadership Awards from Frost & Sullivanโs Manufacturing Leadership Council in the areas of Operational Excellence Leadership. Peterbilt received awards for Test Flow Improvement and Truck Assembly Process Efficiency, with the latter also receiving a Higher Achiever award.
The Manufacturing Leadership Awards honour a wide range of leading companies throughout many industries. Peterbilt has won nine of the awards over the past three years.

The Manufacturing Leadership and Higher Achiever awards for Truck Assembly Process Efficiency recognized Peterbiltโs plant-wide initiative to streamline multiple stages of its manufacturing process. โThat program resulted in record daily production while increasing assembly flexibility, reducing waste and improving overall manufacturing efficiency,โ said Leon Handt, Peterbiltโs Assistant General Manager of Operations.
The Test Flow Improvement project optimized truck testing and validation processes for greater volume, recognizing Peterbiltโs focus on producing the highest quality in the industry.
