Open House takes on a Fund Raising Tone

Nearly 50 Peterbilt customers showed their pride and showcased their ride by circling the City of Denton’s Downtown Square before hundreds who gathered to take in the spectacle during the first Peterbilt Pride & Class Parade. Peterbilt Motors Company has their heavy-duty truck manufacturing facility and is headquartered in Denton, Texas.

Trucks ranging from a 1948 Model 350 to current production Model 579s and Model 567s – and many models manufactured in-between – were in Denton for Peterbilt’s annual employee and family open house. The trucks and their owners came from throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The Pride & Class Parade raised nearly $1,000 from donations made during the event for the United Way of Denton County. United Way of Denton County President and CEO Gary Henderson is the parade’s Grand Marshall.
