Today the legalization of marijuana has arrived in Canada. ย So what has changed?ย Not very much other than people can now carry 30 grams without being arrested and they can openly smoke it.ย ย
What hasnโt changed?ย If you use marijuana youโre not fit to drive and not fit until there is zero THC in your system โ about 28 days. ย Effectively, for truck drivers, with the possible exception of being written up for possession, you still can not use marijuana. ย
There isnโt an insurance company operating in the trucking industry that will permit any THC in oneโs system, period, full stop.ย ย
Be warned, the use of marijuana is not legal within the trucking industry. ย
