IdleAir announced at the Great American Trucking Show last week it now operates five dedicated facilities with single terminals in conjunction with C.R. England, Con-way Truckload, CalArk, Werner Enterprises and TSA/Panamex.
The truck stop electrification service provides a/c, heat, 120V electricity, high-speed Internet and DirectTV.
The company announced it plans to open five more carrier-dedicated terminals by early 2015.
In addition to the five new dedicated facilities, IdleAir announced it completed construction in the first half of 2014 at four Pilot Flying J locations: Laredo, Texas; Robinson, Texas; Pearl, Miss.; and Beaverdam, Ohio.
Also, plans are underway for Pilot Flying J facilities in Seville, Ohio; Austintown, Ohio; and Latta, S.C. By early 2015, the company says, eight more travel center locations will be added, including stops in Kentucky and Alabama.
IdleAir also announced at the show it has integrates its Convoy Points rewards program with Pilot’s MyRewards program.
The company also said it has expanded its relationship with Hotels4Truckers, and IdleAir locations are now listed in Hotels4Truckers truck-friendly accommodations listings in the MyDAT Trucker app.
