According to a report from Bloomberg Law, Cold Carriers Logistics LLC filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on September 27, 2019.
Cold Carriers’ affiliated trucking companies – Interide Transport, Gantt Trucking, Blue Sky Logistics, and Sunco Trucking – were listed in the bankruptcy filings as well. These regional carriers were acquired by Cold Carriers and close to 430 trucks are affected by the bankruptcy filings.
The bankruptcy protection will allow the companies to continue operating for the time being.
According to the Cold Carrier’s website, the company “specializes in moving temperature-controlled freight and other protected cargoes for customers throughout the continental U.S.”
