B.C.-bound trucks should expect delays until Jan. 20

Northbound commercial truck traffic entering Canada at the Pacific Highway Port of Entry will face border congestion and delays until Jan. 20.

The delays are due to construction on the primary commercial inspection booths, says the Canada Border Services Agency.

As well, there is no dedicated FAST lane at the Pacific Highway crossing as they continue to be used to process and facilitate general commercial traffic.

Over 300,000 commercial trucks crossed into Canada from Blaine, Wash. last year.
