The SAE 2014 Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress (COMVEC) brings together a global assembly of both on- and off-road professionals, providing solid, profitable interaction with engineers, supply managers and executives.
Canada, one of seven countries from four continents, will be represented by FPInnovations’ Performance Innovation Transport (PIT) group. It was announced today that Marius Surcel, technical leader, will be on a panel focused on fuel economy testing for commercial vehicle aerodynamics.
“Having played a key role in PIT’s controlled test-track fuel efficiency studies of trailer aerodynamic devices, Marius will bring a unique perspective to this important discussion,” said Yves Provencher, director of the PIT group. “ His experience in testing over 230 fuel efficiency products will serve him well as an expert on this panel to help commercial-vehicle industry leaders and innovators focus on aerodynamics and to accelerate the implementation of fuel efficient technology.”
The panel will be at the SAE 2014 COMVEC on October 7-9 at the Rosemont Convention Centre in Chicago, Ill.
