Marijuana Legal In Canada
Today the legalization of marijuana has arrived in Canada. So what has changed? Not very much other than people can now carry 30 grams without being arrested and they can openly smoke it.
What hasn’t changed? If you use marijuana you’re not fit to drive and not fit until there is zero THC in your system — about 28 days. Effectively, for truck drivers, with the possible exception of being written up for possession, you still can not use marijuana.
There isn’t an insurance company operating in the trucking industry that will permit any THC in one’s system, period, full stop.
Be warned, the use of marijuana is not legal within the trucking industry.
