Ontario Provincial Police say a 61-year-old man from Etobicoke has died, after his car crossed the median on Highway 401 Saturday afternoon and ended up on its side.
The 2006 Chevrolet HHR was the only vehicle involved in the crash. A second person in the car, a 65-year-old Bradford woman, was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The man was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries.
Stormont Dundas and Glengarry OPP continue to investigate. The crash happened on the 401 west of the Moulinette Road exit, west of Cornwall around 2:10 p.m. Saturday.
