Walmart’s Canadian operation ordered 30 more of Tesla’s electric semi-trucks after acquiring 10 last year. Walmart Canada plans to have 100% of its delivery fleet use alternative power by 2028.
Tesla unveiled its semi-truck in November 2107 and they have been pre-ordered by companies like Anheuser-Busch, FedEx and PepsiCo.
The trucks are reportedly equipped with the company’s semi-autonomous driving system and can go 300 to 500 miles on one charge.
