OPP, in an effort to curb impaired driving, have launched their annual RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) program.
Throughout Ontario, police will be setting up check points in search for drug or alcohol impaired drivers until the new year.
Drive safely, drive sober, and drive without distractions.
Police in every jurisdiction will be conducting similar checks across the country. Be aware these check points could cause substantial slow downs. Often they are conducted in the dark hours.
