December 29th, 2018, Jack Cameron, owner of Antrim Truck Stop, passed away at age 83.
The Antrim Truck Stop is one of the few mom and pop truck stops left in Canada.
The Antrim Truck Stop has been a Highway 17 fixture in Eastern Ontario for many many years. First at the original location on old Highway 17 just east of Antrim then as the highway became controlled access, at its current location just off 417 at Arnprior, Jack was a fixture.
Jack had a high degree of integrity, was a man of his word, the handshake deal, and a gentleman in every respect.
There will be a celebration of Jack’s life at the Antrim Truck Stop — Dealership Building — on Saturday January 5th, 2019, from 1-5. Donations to the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
