The Maine Professional Driver Association recently held a commercial driving competition for high school students. The event is part of the association’s effort to recruit more young people into the trucking industry.
More than 50 students participated in the Dick Dollof Memorial Student Driving Competition. Each competitor has been learning commercial driving techniques through vocational schools throughout the state.
