Roadrunner Transportation Systems recently announced a new investment in additional fleet assets that includes new trucks and trailers.
Specifically, Roadrunner plans to acquire over 500 sleeper and day cab tractors and acquire or refinance 2,100 dry and refrigerated trailers.
The company hopes that the new equipment will increase safety, reduce breakdowns, improve fuel efficiency and provide an overall better driver experience.
“Investing in our fleet is one of the many ways we are focusing on putting our customers, company drivers and independent contractors first,” said Michael Gettle, President, and COO of Roadrunner Transportation Systems. “We are extremely proud to introduce newer equipment to help us improve our fleet safety, reliability, and efficiency.”
