Relatively small Missouri based trucking company, Prime Inc., is suing Amazon over its โPrimeโ shipping trailers.
The trucking company in a federal lawsuit, alleges that Amazon Primeโs shipping trailer logo is โconfusingly similarโ to the trucking companies own logo.
Prime Inc. further alleges that Amazon causes โirreplaceable injuryโ to their company as they get mistakenly blamed when people have a bad experience with Amazon.
Prime Inc. also argues that it has built up โsubstantial and valuable goodwillโ since the 1980s.ย Amazon, on the other hand, has only been using their Prime logo for a few years to promote their Prime membership.
