Higher speed limits will be seen in Ontario this Fall.ย As a pilot project a section of 417 east of Ottawa to the Quebec border will have the speed limit raised from the current 100 kmph to 110 kilometres per hour. ย
Likewise the 402 west of London to Sarnia and the QEW from the Hamilton Area to St Catharines.ย ย At this point, this venture into higher speed limits will be restricted to these three areas. ย
