New York truck driver, David Johnson, recently won the second largest Powerball Jackpot in New York Lottery history; totalling $298.3 million.
In regards to his job, David says, โIโm not going to work, Iโm quitting right away!โ He adds, โI canโt even eat. I start and canโt finish my food. Iโm happy with joy inside.โ
Johnson works across the street from the gas station where he purchased his winning ticket. He said he was aware the Powerball winner went to the same location; however, he didnโt realize it was him until he checked his ticket a few days later!
The New York Lottery is North Americaโs largest and most profitable lottery and provides close to 13% of total state education aid to local school districts.
