The average price per gallon for a diesel fuel dropped 2 cents on Monday, Nov. 12, compared to the Monday before, according to the federal Energy Information Administration.
This is the third consecutive week of average price drops.
The price is 40.2 cents higher than one year ago Monday.
Following are the average prices by region as reported by the EIA for Monday:
- U.S. – $3.317, down 2.1 cents.
- East Coast – $3.314, down 1.5 cents.
- New England – $3.356, down three-fifths of a cent.
- Central Atlantic – $3.483, down 1.5 cents.
- Lower Atlantic – $3.187, down 1.5 cents.
- Midwest – $3.262, down 2.4 cents.
- Gulf Coast – $3.085, down 2.1 cents.
- Rocky Mountain – $3.378, down 2 cents.
- West Coast – $3.807, down 2.6 cents.
- West Coast less California – $3.514, down 2.4 cents.
- California – $4.04, down 2.8 cents.
