By two indexes, the average price per gallon for a diesel fuel dropped almost 2 cents on Monday, Nov. 5, compared to the Monday before.
According to the federal Energy Information Administration, the average price for a gallon of diesel across the United States dropped 1.7 cents. According to data from ProMiles, the average price dropped 1.9 cents.
The highest regional decreases, according to the EIA, were in the Central Atlantic region (2.5 cents), Midwest region (2.4 cents) and West Coast excluding California (2.6 cents).
The price is 45.6 cents higher than one year ago Monday.

- Rocky Mountain โ $3.398, down seven-tenths of a cent.
- West Coast โ $3.833, down 1.5 cents.
- West Coast less California โ $3.538, down 2.6 cents.
- California โ $4.068, down three-tenths of a cent.
