Scott Porritt of TMS Transportation was named the Volvo Trucks Driver of the Year at the 99th British Columbia Trucking Association Annual Management Conference.
Porritt was honored for his 27-year, clean record and accident-free professional diving career.
The annual award is sponsored by Volvo Trucks and BCTA.
Porritt has been with TMS Transportation Ltd. for the past 20 years. He is the senior driver for the company and also provides training for new drivers.
