Inland acquires Castlegar parts and service location Castlegar gains a Kenworth dealership through Columbia Truck and Tire acquisition
Inland acquired Columbia Truck and Tire, adding a truck and equipment parts and service location in Castlegar, B.C. Inland Castlegar will continue to operate as a truck and trailer repair shop, parts store, as well as a Goodyear tire dealer.
In addition, under the Inland name, they will be the Kenworth, Tigercat, Case and Link-Belt dealer, offering parts and service on forestry and construction equipment as well as trucks and trailers.
Inland Castlegar will serve all makes and models of trucks, trailers, and equipment with nine service bays and an extensive parts inventory. They will continue being the areas trusted experts in Cummins and will now be able to support MX engines.
“The most important thing is having company values align,” explains Jason Wheeler, Inland’s Vice President of Canadian Operations. “You can tell Columbia Truck and Tire has a similar culture of taking care of their customers. We are very excited to have them join us.”
With nearby Inland locations in Cranbrook, Penticton, Kelowna and Vernon, the new Castlegar location will provide central support for both local and transient Inland customers passing through the area.
Customers can expect to see the same facility and highly trained technicians and parts personnel currently in place but with the extra support of being a part of Inland’s network.
