We have day, night, seasons, birth, death and in all of these, everything happens according to the laws of nature. Our world has made laws in order to make it a better place to live and be. Every country, every industry has its own laws and rules, including the trucking industry in which we are involved.
Regardless of whether we like it or not, we all have to follow pre-set rules. We have to ensure that we understand and have knowledge of industry laws, regulations, and rules. If needed, it’s important to get the right information and training on these, so that we can do our jobs properly. After the training, it’s time to implement what you have learned into your day-to-day operations. Your life will become easier, hustle free, and you will undoubtedly achieve more success in your business. As Albert Einstein said, “You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.” Yes, if you play better, you will definitely be ahead of your competition. The opposite is also true: you can cheat, but this process will only cause you to have bigger problems. If you get caught breaking rules and laws, the costs can be heavy: from getting heavily fined to shutting down your operation – both of which I’m sure you wouldn’t choose.
In order to accommodate the changing needs of the industry, new rules are implemented from time to time. These days, the new Hours of Service rules are in the limelight and are going to be enforced beginning July 1, unless there is a last minute decision to stop them. We have tried to gather as much information as possible to educate the industry regarding these changes and we hope you will appreciate our efforts. The APNA Truck Show 2013 was held at Tradex in Abbotsford on June 15 and 16. It was a great success; over 10,000 people visited the show in just two days. ਅਸੀਂ ਦਿਨ, ਰਾਤ, ਵੱਖ਼ ਵੱਖ਼ ਰੁੱਤਾਂ, ਜ਼ਨਮ, ਮਰਨ ਆਦਿ ਦੇਖ਼ਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁੱਝ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਦੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਪਰ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਨਿਯਮ ਜਾਂ ਕਨੂੰਨ ਬਨਾਉਣੇ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਭ ਕੁੱਝ ਇੱਕਸਾਰ ਚੱਲ ਸਕੇ। ਹਰੇਕ ਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਂ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਨੂੰਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਯਮ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਟਰੱਕਿੰਗ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ , ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸੀਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਦੇ ਵੀ ਕੁੱਝ ਨਿਯਮ ਅਤੇ ਕਨੂੰਨ ਹਨ।
ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰੀਏ ਜਾਂ ਨਾ, ਪ੍ਰੰਤੂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਕਨੂੰਨ ਮੰਨਣੇ ਹੀ ਪੈਣੇ ਹਨ। ਹੁਣ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਕਨੂੰਨ? ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਜਾਨਣਾ ਪੈਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਨਿਯਮ ਜਾਂ ਕਨੂੰਨ ਹਨ ਮਤਲਬ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਕਨੂੰਨਾ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਨ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ।ਹੁਣ ਵਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਕਾਨੂੰਨਾ ਦੀ ਸਹੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਾਰੀ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿੱਤ ਦਿਨ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਕਾਰ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨਾਂ।ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਖ਼ਾ ਬਣਾ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੰਬਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕੇ ਰਹੋਗੇ।
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਆਈਨਸਟਾਈਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਖ਼ੇਡ ਦੇ ਨਿਯਮ ਸਿੱਖ਼ਣੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋ ਬੇਹਤਰ ਖ਼ੇਡਣਾ ਪੈਣਾ ਹੈ।ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਨਹੀ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖ਼ੇਡ ਦੇ ਨਿਯਮ ਸਿੱਖ਼ ਕੇ ਦੂਜਿਆ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬੇਹਤਰ ਖੇਡੋਗੇ, ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੈਰ ਚੁੰਮੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲੋ ਅੱਗੇ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਵੋਗੇ। ਦੂਜਾ ਪਾਸਾ ਇਹ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨਿਯਮਾ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਧੋਖ਼ੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਲੰਬਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਲਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਫ਼ੜੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਜੁਰਮਾਨੇ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਵੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਆਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੂਸਰਾ ਢੰਗ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਪਣਾਓਗੇ।
ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਰੂਰਤਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਸਮੇਂ ਸਮੇਂ ਨਵੇਂ ਨਿਯਮ ਬਣਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ॥। ਅੱਜ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਨਿਯਮ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਕਨੂੰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ 1 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਸ ਅੰਕ ਵੱਚ ਇਸ ਵਾਰੇ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਆਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਾਇਦਾ ਉਠਾਓਂਗੇ। ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਆਲ਼ੇ ਦੁਆਲ਼ੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਸਰੋਤ ਹਨ ਜਿੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਤੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਹੋਰ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਵੀ ਲੈ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ।
15,16 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਏ ਆਪਣਾ ਟਰੱਕ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਨੇ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਤੋੜ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ, ਦੋ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ 10,000 ਤੋਂ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਅਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਿਆਂ। ਅਸੀਂ ਦੇਸੀ ਟਰੱਕਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਟੀਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਸ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਨੂੰ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਰੱਬ ਰਾਖ਼ਾ…ਅਗਲੇ ਅੰਕ ਚ’ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਾਂ।
