TTSAO announces first annual conference

The Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario (TTSAO) is scheduling its first annual conference.

The new conference will be February 23-24, 2016 and is called โ€œStriving for Excellence in Training.โ€ It is being held at the Sandman Hotel in Mississauga, Ont.

โ€œWe are very pleased that the conference planning is moving along so well,โ€ said Yvette Lagrois, president of the TTSAO. โ€œOur conference committee has done a great job at putting together a fantastic agenda. We also have some great industry sponsors supporting us at this event.โ€

The first day of the conference will consist of the TTSAO Board of Directorsโ€™ Meeting (Directors only), followed by the Associationโ€™s General Meeting, which is open to all members and those who are thinking of joining. After the General Meeting, there will be a cocktail party and registrants will be able to visit companies and sponsors who are participating in the trade show. Day two will feature presentations from some of the industryโ€™s best, including:

โ€œThe Future of Recruitment in the Private Fleet Industryโ€
โ€œRecruiting Strategies from Trade Publication Expertsโ€
โ€œHow to Attract and Retain Professional Drivers: Advice from Award-Winning Carriersโ€

The afternoon session will be โ€œThe Stan and Dan Showโ€, featuring a candid conversation about trucking with Dan Einwechter, chairman and CEO of Challenger, and Stan Campbell, the host of Trucker Radio.

The conference registration form is now available at www.TTSAO.com.
