Saturday, 14 Sep, nearly 30 big trucks, along with their drivers and families gathered at the Brockville Shopping Centre parking lot in preparation for the annual convoy to raise money and awareness for the fight against breast cancer.
This year’s lead truck raised more than $10,000, the truck in second place, more than $6,000. The totals from the Brockville event will be added to the event in Woodstock, in western Ontario next weekend, and fully reported.
Over the years Trucking For A Cure has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in the fight against Breast Cancer.
Next year, the Trucking For A Cure, East venue will be back in Prescott, Ontario.
