According to the calendar we have more winter behind us than ahead of us. According to meteorologists that which is ahead of us is undoubtedly going to be the nastiest. Certainly, that has proven to be the case is Eastern Canada.
The 4 nuthin 1 is no picnic having had a significant snowfall coupled with bitter temperatures where salt has no effect leaving the road surface unpredictable. Therefore caution, utmost caution becomes the watch word. The snowploughs were even getting swept into the ditches.
The so called polar vortex will continue its Arctic assault on Eastern Canada for much of the next week and there will be a lot more snow with which to contend. Be safe out there. Spring is that little light at the end of this winter tunnel.
