Lorraine Card has been named the new executive director of the Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA).
Ms Card joins the provincial trucking association from Alberta Transportation, Carrier Services and will assume her duties Nov. 3.
Richard Warnock remains as president and CEO for 2015 to help her with the transition.
โLorraine was selected as the result of an extensive search, which drew the interest of candidates from across Alberta,โ the association announced.
